Kathryn was the daughter of Elsie Anna Stork and Fred William Stork, Sr. Kathryn was one of five children, all born and raised in Saginaw, MI except one brother who passed away in infancy. Kathryn graduated from Arthur Hill High School and received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan. Kathryn was married to Bob Grube on June 25, 1936 in Saginaw, MI. Kathryn and Bob had three children.
