Arthur Daniel was baptized 10 Apr 1895 at Jerusalem Church in Trachsville, Carbon Co., Pennsylvania; sponsored by Joseph and Emma (Bartholomew) Mackes. The church record shows his date of birth as 17 November 1894 but the date on his marriage license is 17 September 1894.

Arthur and Edith "Eda" V Schaffer (daughter of Ira Schaffer and Flora Serfass) were married 27 Jun 1922 by Rev. W. M. Rehrig (Carbon Co. marriage license #15513). At the time of their marriage in 1922, Arthur was employed as a laborer and was living at Palmerton, PA. Eda was living in Monroe Co.

Arthur and Eda were blessed with five children.

Arthur was a farmer and stone mason. He served in the Army in WW I. In 1944 he was living at Kunkletown, PA. In 1976 and 1978 he was living at Smiths Gap, Kunkletown R.D.
