Daughter of Samuel Kuehner and Catherine Meckes.

Elsie was christened at Jerusalem Church, Trachsville. The church record shows that she was born 18 May 1900. However, the date on her tombstone is 10 May 1900.

Elsie F. Kuehner and Clinton C. Craig were married by Rev. H. E. Moyer (Monroe Co. marriage license #4674). In 1920 Elsie was living in Kunkletown, PA.

In 1944 and 1980 Elsie was living in Palmerton, PA. In 1981 she was reported to be living in Hazleton, PA. By 1984 she had moved into the Lutheran Home in Hazleton, PA. Elsie was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Palmerton, PA. She was a five-star mother during WW II. (Obit in "Morning Call", Allentown, Monday, 12 November
