Michael was a native of Oberlin and longtime resident of the Basile Care Center. He cherished his time with his devoted mother, Alice. She fed him dinner every day at the care center. He also enjoyed his time with his brothers. He loved to “pick and play” and had a great sense of humor. Michael loved Cajun music and rock and roll, especially the Beatles. He enjoyed hanging out with all of his friends at the Basile Care Center where everyone loved him. He will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Alice Doucet Granger of Oberlin; four brothers-Carl Granger and wife, Ethel, of Lafayette, Gilroy Granger and Diane, Gary Granger, and David “Beaver” Granger and wife, Becky, all of Oberlin; two sisters-Debbie LeDoux and husband, Paul, of Eunice and Jackie Granger of Oberlin; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, Jacques Granger.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Basile Care Center and Acadian Ambulance for the special care given to Michael.
