Oberlin-Funeral Services for David "Beaver" Granger, 61, will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oberlin. Burial will follow at Oaklin Springs Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home from 8 a.m. until time of service. ***Please note, due to state mandates, a face covering is required inside and social distancing must be maintained throughout your visit. ***
Beaver was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Rebecca, for twenty-six years. He loved cooking and could make the best grilled ribeyes and seafood gumbo. Beaver enjoyed squirrel hunting, entertaining and drinking his beer. Last, but not least, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Beaver will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Beaver's memory include his mother, Alice (Doucet) Granger of Oberlin; wife, Rebecca Granger of Oberlin; one son, David Brian Granger and wife, Dana, of Oakdale; one daughter, Krystal Granger of Dallas, TX; two brothers, Gary Granger of Soileau and Gill Granger of Oberlin; two sisters, Debbie LeDoux and husband, Paul, of Soileau and Jackie Granger of Soileau; and four grandchildren.
Beaver is preceded in death by his father, Jack Granger and two brothers, Carl and Mike Granger.
