JOHN L. LAMON, 75, DIES AT HOME HERE
John L. Lamon, 75, died this morning at his residence at 307 W. Moulton St. Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Westside Baptist Church. The Rev. Jimmy Ballard and the Rev. W.W. Coffey will officiate and burial will be in City cemetery. Brown Funeral Home is in charge.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Carrie Lamon; two sons, J.P. and Eugene Lamon; and two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Matthews and Mrs. Gorman Braswell; all of Decatur; and 13 grandchildren.
The body was to be returned to the residence this afternoon. Six deacons of the Westside Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
