Rhoda Mary Hunter was born in England to Robert Bishop and Bertha Emily Hunt, both born in England.
Rhoda was married twice. First husband was Christopher Columbus Gentry who she married on July 6, 1897 in Gordon Creek, Carbon, Utah. He was 25 years her senior. From the newspaper article of his death (Eastern Utah Advocate, Sept. 21, 1899) he committed suicide, in part because Rhoda had left him two months prior, as he had been ill and was unable to provide for her.
Her second spouse was John Hunter.

They lived in Price for 10 years prior to her death from complications of diabetes. Her husband preceded her in death. She died exactly 3 years to the date of her husband's death.

She had lived in U S A for 52 years.
