Lela McEntire married William Parkinson in 1899 at her parent's home in Crystal Falls, Texas. The couple moved to Graham, Texas in 1913 from Hood County, Texas. Her husband preceded her in death. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church.

Survived by three brothers - Jess McEntire,J.E. McEntire, J.C. McEntire ; three nieces - Mrs. A.E. Jones, MRs. Foy Odom, MRs. Virbil Biggs; two nephews - Don McEntire, Bobby Kent McEntire.

She was preceded in death by one daughter.

Lots of fond memories of Lela Parkinson. Our family spoke very highly of her love for life.
