Alice Killian, 76, passed away May 18, at 12:45 p.m. after an illness of five days. Mrs. Killian was born Feb. 21, 1880, in Allen County, Ind., and married Henry Killian on Nov. 5, 1898. He preceded her in death Aug. 27, 1951. Surviving are three sons, Elmer of Flint, George and Art, of Beaverton; three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Russell, Mrs. Florence White and Mrs. Lois Calhoun, all of Beaverton; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Edgar and Mrs. Julia Sweet of Indiana; one brother, Charles Burrier, of Stirum, No. Dak. One daughter, Doris, is deceased. Funeral services were held Sunday, May 20, at 3 p.m. at the Church of the Brethren with Rev. Arthur Whishler officiating. Burial was in the Dale cemetery.
