Arthur G. Killian, 74, of 3100 Burgess Rd., Beaverton, died Wednesday, April 29, 1992, in the Central Michigan Community Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, after a long illness. Born in Beaverton on May 27, 1917, he had spent his lifetime there. Mr. Killian was an operator in the Power House at Dow Chemical Co. for 31 years and retired in 1980. He served in World War II as a Corporal and was a member of the Beaverton Grouse Dog Club and the Shaft Alley Hunting Club. Mr. Killian and the former Gladys Anderson were married May 29, 1948, in Beaverton.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Mary) Wysong of Howard City; 2 sons, Arthur Jr. of Traverse City and Robert of Beaverton; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Services were held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. Jerry Blades officiated and burial was in the Tobacco Township Cemetery.
