LONG ILLNESS FATAL TO H. L. KILLIAN

Henry L. Killian, 73, passed away at his home in Beaverton township on Monday, August 27. Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Beaverton Brethren church. The Rev. Arthur Whisler will officiate and burial will be made in Dale cemetery. A short prayer service will be held at the home at 1 o'clock.
Mr. Killian was born on October 9, 1877 in Springfield, Indiana. He married Miss Alice Burrier, in November, 1898, in Allen county, Indiana. They came to Gladwin county in 1910, and lived on a farm in this vicinity since. He has been in poor health for a number of years.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Elmer of Flint, George and Arthur of Beaverton; three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Russell, Mrs. Florence White and Mrs. Lois Calhoun, all of Beaverton; three brothers, Adrian of Holly, Clarence of Hicksville, Ohio and Perry of Flint; also 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
