Mrs. Laura J. Eager, 82, died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday at the home of a son, Lee C. Eager, in Scipio Township. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
Mrs. Eager was a lifelong resident of Scipio Township. Her husband, Harley, died in 1932.
Surviving in addition to the son are a sister, Mrs. Julia Sweet, Woodburn; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Oetting Funeral Home in Harlan, where friends may call after 7:30 p.m. today. Services will be in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Russell Rasmussen officiating. Burial will be in Scipio Cemetery.
