George Zuendel, aged 79 years, one of the best known and highly respected residents of this vicinity, passed away at 9:45 AM Tuesday, Dec. 3, 1929, at the old Zuendel homestead at Starr, from a complication of ailments following an illness of a week.
He was a son of the late Henry and Christina Zuendel and was a lifelong resident of Kingsley twp. and that vicinity. He is survived by one brother, Henry of Starr, and 3 sons: Lawrence, Howard and Earl.
Funeral services in his memory will be held at the home of Mrs. J. M. Zuendel at Starr, at 2:00 PM Thursday. Rev. C. H. Stang of Lickingville will officiate at the service. Interment will be made in the Zuendel cemetery.
