Johane Dorothea Froliche Suppe was born in Germany on April 4, 1826. She married Friedich Karl Suppe about 1852 in Germany. After their marriage, they came to live in America sometime in the 1850's. They lived in Ohio and Indiana before settling in Saline Co., Missouri, to raise their family of 4 children: Mary, Reinhold Carl, William, and Bertha Charlotte. Johane Dorothea died on April 12, 1896, in New Frankfort, Saline Co., Missouri, and was buried in the New Frankfort Cemetery.
