George S. Whyte, 76 years, of Rogersville died Thursday, November 13, 1958, in his home. He was a son of A. R. and Clarinda Fordyce Whyte, and was born July 28, 1882, at Bluff. He resided almost all his life in the Rogersville area and was a member of the Rogersville Christian Church. He was a construction worker by trade. Surviving are two daughters, Blanche, wife of Edward Morris of Washington, and Mrs. Clarinda Crouse of Rogersville; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Artie Headley of Winterset, Iowa, and two brothers, Clyde and Harold Whyte, both of Waynesburg. One daughter, one sister, and two brothers are deceased. Funeral services were held Saturday.
