ALBERT B. WHITE

Albert B. White, 75, a native and former resident of Greene County, died at 5 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 1952, in the Veteran's Hospital at Johnson City, Tenn.

A well-known broker, Mr. White had resided since his retirement in 1940 in Atlanta and Dalton, Ga.

A son of the late A. R. and Clarinda Fordyce White, the deceased was born Feb. 2, 1876 at Rogersville. He served in the Spanish-American War with Company K, Waynesburg.

Surviving are four brothers, John, George, Clyde and Harold, all of Waynesburg, and one sister, Mrs. Artie Headley of Winterset, Iowa.

WHITE - Funeral services for Albert B. White, a native of Rogersville who died Thursday, Aug. 14, 1952 in the Veteran's Hospital at Johnson City, Tenn., will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, from the Church Funeral Home, North Maiden street, Waynesburg, with the Rev. Paul P. Holden officiating. Burial, with full military rites, will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Rogersville. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16.
