RAYMOND ALLAMAND
Funeral services for Raymond Allamand, 68, were held Wednesday June 9 at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello with burial in the Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello. The Rev. Robert Pike officiated at the services.
Raymond Allamand of Kansas City, Kans., formerly of Monticello, died Monday June 7 at the Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kans., following a short illness.
Raymond Allamand was born Dec. 13, 1924 near Monticello, the son of Abraham and Mary Arnold Allamand. He received his education in the rural schools near his home. He farmed for many years with his father and his uncle near Monticello. In 1963, he moved to Wisconsin where he worked as a farmhand. He moved to Marion, Ohio in 1969 where he was employed by the DeKalb Seed Corn Company. Following his retirement, he moved to Kansas City, Kans. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Kansas City.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Lou Guthrie of Flippin, Ark. and Caroline Neff of Princeton; two brothers, Karl of Milwaukee, Ore., and George of Gibbs, Calif.
