Funeral services for Jason Simpson Caruthers, 81, of Baldwin, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Methodist Church at Baldwin. Rev. James Nabors will be in charge and burial will be in the Wellsville Cemetery. Lamb Funeral Home, Baldwin is handling the arrangements. Mr. Caruthers died Wednesday in Ottawa. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Vickers of Baldwin, Mrs. Naomi Porter, 1130 R.I. St., Mrs. Glenn Thompson, Mountain View, Calif., and Mrs. Joseph DePue, Nevada, Mo; four sons, Roger Caruthers, Route 1, Ralph Caruthers and Dale Caruthers both of Baldwin, and Walter Caruthers, Mesa, Ariz; one sister Mrs. Donald Caruthers, Hoxie; 29 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, one daughter and his wife. An infant son, George David, August 28, 1907, died at birth.
