WHITESBORO - Mrs. Alaire L. Shaver, 62, of Westmoreland Road, Whitesboro, died Friday, August 24, 1984 in St. Elizabeth Hospital.

She was born in Sangerfield, August 8, 1922, daughter of Fay and Amelia Myers Ackerman, Sr. She was educated in Turin schools. In 1942, she married Thomas Hale, Jr. Mr. Hale
died in 1966. In 1968, she married James Barron. Mr. Barron died in 1961. In Clark Mills in 1982, she married Kenneth L. Shaver. For over 30 years, Alaire was employed at General
Electric Co. in Utica. She was a member of the Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills.

Surviving besides her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Nikodem of Westmoreland; one son, Brian N. Hale, at home; three grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard
Ackerman of Adams, Fay Ackerman, Jr. of Constableville; five sisters, Mrs. Francis (Blanche) Jones of New Hartford, Mrs. Dennis (Grace) Doran of Oneida, Mrs. Ann Brown of Boonville, Jean Stanford of Oneida and Mrs. James (Beverly) Bronson of West Leyden; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Doris Blackburn of Jacksonville, FL. She was also predeceased by a brother, Lincoln, who died in WWIl.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9 from the Owens Funeral Home, College St., Clinton and at 9:30 from the Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills, where a Mass
of Christian Burial will be offered. Friends are invited and may call Monday afternoon and evening 2-4 and 7-9. Burial will be in Westmoreland Cemetery.
