She was born in Constableville, on November 28, 1934, a daughter of Fay L. and Amelia Veronica Myers Ackerman, Sr. Beverly grew up near Constableville, where she graduated from high school with the Class of 1953. On June 26, 1954, she was united in marriage with James Bronson, in Constableville. After that the couple lived in Blue Mountain Lake, moving to West Leyden in 1956. Mrs. Bronson was a home maker who found much joy in raising her family. Mr. Bronson, a US Army Veteran, and diesel mechanic, died on April 20, 1994.
Beverly was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship Church, Boonville, where she had been active in women's ministries. She enjoyed crafts, playing the piano, putting together puzzles and gardening. She greatly loved her family and her two cats.
She is survived by three sons, Curtis J. Bronson, and Mark J. Bronson, both of Norway, NY, Eric J. Bronson, Clinton NY; two daughters, Cynthia M. (Gary) Parritt, West Leyden, and April A. Bronson, Cold Brook, NY; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Beverly was the last of her family; she was predeceased by sisters, Joan Stanford, Alaire Baron, Ann Brown, Grace Doran, Blanche Jones; and by brothers, Fay L. Ackerman, Jr. Leonard J. Ackerman and Lincoln who was killed in WW II.
