Mrs. Jeffries
Mrs. Sally Pearl Jeffries, 76, of 2018 Oak Hill Drive, Muscle Shoals, died Sunday at Colbert County Hospital.
She was a native of Lawrence County, Ala., wife of the late Luther Vollen Jeffries, and a member of the Woodward Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Buford Brackin of Town Creek, Mrs. Clarence Owens and Mrs. Vernon Lang, of Decatur, Mrs. Jodie Burney of Muscle Shoals and Mrs. Lyndom Oliver of Leighton; sons, Grady Jeffries of Nashville, Tenn., Harold T. Jeffries of Ramer, Tenn., and Terrell L. Jeffries of Leighton; sisters, Mrs. E.Y. McGregor of Leighton, Mrs. Hugh Pullen of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; 28 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was at 2 p.m. today at Woodward Avenue Baptist Church, Rev. T.A. Duke and Rev. Frank Stone officiating. Burial was in Hardshell Cemetery, Morrison-Elkins of Tuscumbia directing.
