Danville News - Died at the home of her father, Nov. 20, 1900, Miss Eliza Roberts, daughter of W. J. Roberts. She was a victim to the dreaded consumption which has now brought death for her lot. Many friends are left behind to mourn her departure.

Neel News - The angel of death has entered our midst and taken one of our purest and best Christians. Miss Eliza Roberts, daughter of W. J. and Betsy A. Roberts, the latter deceased. Miss Roberts was born January 25, 1879 and was converted and joined the Methodist Episcopal Church South in Danville Circuit, October 22d, 1891 and departed this life November 20, 1900.
