Mrs. Callie Bowman, 95, of Rt. 5, Huntsville, died November 6, 1984, at the Huntsville Memorial Hospital. She was born September 18, 1889 at Loy, Arkansas, the daughter of Joe W. and Mary Russell Lyman. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church and the widow of Henry Harrison Bowman, who preceded her in death on July 15, 1977.
Survivors include two sons, Vester Bowman and Cody Bowman, both of Huntsville; three daughters, Mrs. Dalphia Cornett of Huntsville, Mrs. Alma Carson and Mrs. Maxine Dennis, both of Witter; thirty-four grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren and twenty-one great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 8, at the First Assembly of God Church in Huntsville with Rev. Lindell Bowman and Rev. Wallace Mann officiating. Interment was in the Venus Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
