Henry Harrison Bowman, 88, of Route 5, Huntsville, died July 15, at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Born February 11, 1889, at Wharton, the son of William and Parlee Phillips Bowman, he was a farmer and a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Kellie Wyman Bowman of the home; two sons, Vester and Cody, of Huntsville; three daughters, Mrs. Dalphia Cornett, of Huntsville, and Mrs. Alma Carson and Mrs. Maxine Dennis, both of Witter; one brother, John, of Seneca, Mo.; 25 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, July 18, at 2 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Huntsville under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home with burial in the Venus Cemetery. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
