Mrs. Mary E Chadwick, wife of W. N. She was about 65 years of age. The body is expected to arrive in Kirksville today or Monday.
Funeral arrangements have not been made, but burial will be beside two of her sons who are buried at Elmer, MO.
Mrs. Chadwick was born in Knox county, Missouri, and had spent most of her life in Knox and Adair counties. Mr. and Mrs. Chadwick managed a greenhouse on North Franklin street several years ago. They had been living on a farm just north of Kirksville until last November when they went to Tucson to be with their son who had work there. They were driving through and when they reached El Paso several days ago she became seriously ill and continued to grow worse.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Chadwick leaves a daughter, Mrs. Delephia Reynolds, of Pontoosuc, IL, and three sons, W.B. Chadwick, Las Vegas, Nev., G.E. Chadwick of Kirksville, and Robert who lives with his father. She also leaves two brothers, J.D. Morrey, of Hurdland, and C.C. Morrey, of Los Angeles, Calif., and three grandchildren. Mrs. J.R. Rouner, of Kirksville, is a half sister. Mrs. Chadwick was a member of the Methodist church.
