Ruby Daniels, 67, died unexpectedly Friday morning, Dec. 25, 2009, in her Oxford residence.
She was born in Monticello, Ky. on June 11, 1942 to the late John Quincy and Delia Bell Slaven. She married James O. Daniels in Templeton on Sept. 10, 1960. He preceded her in death Jan. 12, 2002.
Surviving are two daughters, Anita Blystone (husband: Chuck) and Mary Beth Davis (husband David), both of Oxford; two sons, Jimmie Daniels of West Lafayette and Joe Daniels of Rensselaer; three sisters, Thelma Winchester of Oxford, Reba Watson of West Lafayette and Pauline Anderson of Pine Village; four brothers, Bob Slaven (wife: Lucy) of Marietta, Ga., Clifford Slaven of Emerson, Ga. and Ron Slaven and Don Slaven , both of Fowler and are 7 grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Wendell & Cecil Slaven.
