Donald Brice Slaven, 71, formerly of Oxford & Boswell, died, Friday, December 4, 2020. He was born, April 1, 1949, to the late John Quincy & Delia (Bell) Slaven. He attended Oxford High School. He served in the Army & Army National Guard from 1975 until 1997. He married the mother of his children Cheryl Lynn Eberhardt in August of 1980, she survives. He had previously worked at Wal-Mart, AB Specialty, Gandy's Sawmill & Asgrow Seed. Don enjoyed spending time with his family; especially his Grandkids, Westerns & trips to Kentucky for reunions.
Don is survived by his Son, Brice (DeDe) Slavens, Daughter, Rachel Slavens, 6 Grandchildren, Kylee, Courtney, Kaleigh & Camron Slavens & Kaden & Kendall Scearcy, sister, Pauline Anderson and many nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by five brothers, his twin Brother, Ron "Big Babe", Wendell,Cecil, Bob and Clifford Slaven & three sisters, Thelma(Hubert) Winchester, Reba(Jesse) Watson and Ruby(James) Daniels .
