Mrs. Addie M. Robbins, widow of W.S. Robbins, early resident of Marshalltown, died at Whittier, Calif., March 17, according to word received here Monday. Funeral services were held March 20 at Whittier and the body sent to Indianapolis, Ind., for burial. Mrs. Robbins was 80 years of age and her death was due to a heart ailment.

Mr. and Mrs. Robbins lived in Marshalltown just before the turn of the century when Mr. Robbins was connected with the Lett-Fletcher company as a treasurer. The family home was at 103 North Second avenue until 1903 when the family moved to Chicago, Ill., where Mr. Robbins died in 1905.

Later Mrs. Robbins purchased the George Allen property at 710 West Main Street and returned to this city to live at that address and at 610 West State Street until moving to California about 30 years ago. She was active in Christian Science work, helping with the erection of the present church building here and serving as one of the readers of the local church.

She is survived by a daughter, Wilma, now Mrs. A.B. Ordway of Oakland, Calif: a son, Edward S. Ordway of Whittier, and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Blanche Vogel and Mrs. Mabel Ordway of this city are sister-in-law of the daughter."
