Ethel Brookshire Colvin, 90, of Ft. Worth died July 22 at her residence.
Services were held July 24 at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Plez Todd officiating.
Burial was in the Restland Cemetery.
Born Oct. 8, 1898 in Coryell County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Emma Brookshire.
She was raised and educated in the Harmon Community.
She married Gilbert Jessie Lee Colvin Dec. 24, 1919. They moved to the Tama Community.
He preceded her in death Nov. 9, 1980.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gatesville.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Moise Holt and Mrs. Nelta Hull, both of Ft. Worth; one son, Gilbert Nelson Colvin of Gatesville; one sister, Mrs. Elna Moorhead of Gatesville; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers at the funeral were Dennis Guy Wilie, Edward Holt, Vanoy Hull, Hubert D. Williford, Eddy Holt and Kenny Fleetwood.
