Cecil S. Rhine, 54, died of an apparent heart attack while driving a tractor at his farm, 1 mile east of Burlington, Thursday afternoon. Born January 24, 1907, in Clinton county, his parents were Charles and Emma Lanning Rhine. He was married Nov. 27, 1929 to Kathryn Spann.
Surviving are his widow; his mother, Mrs. Emma Rhine of route 2, Cutler; a daughter and two sons: Mrs. Charles Revolt of Kokomo; Wayne of Burlington and Sam at home; three brothers and four sisters: Walter of Kokomo, Floyd of route 1, Kokomo, Ralph of route 1, Russiaville; Mrs. James Robison and Mrs. Wayne Bennett, both of Kokomo, Mrs. Wayne Metzger, route 1, Cutler and Mrs. Robert Humes, route 1 Bringhurst.
Funeral rites were held Sunday at the Burlington Methodist church of which he was a member. Rev. Eugene Potts officiated and burial was in the Burlington cemetery. Carter funeral home was in charge
of arrangements.
