Funeral services for Virgil Claude Buntin, 58, of Ludlow, who died, Sunday, July 7, at the Hedrick Medical Center will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Ludlow Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Shane, officiating.
Burial will be in the Monroe cemetery at Ludlow under direction of the Pitts Funeral Home.
Mr. Buntin was born Dec. 29, 1915, son of Howard and Stella Minnis Buntin. He married Euva L. Hughes on June 13, 1936."
Mr. Buntin operated a grocery store in Ludlow for 20 years and was employed by the Missouri Highway Department at the time of his death.
He was a member of the American Legion and the Royal Neighbors and was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors are his wife, Euva of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Carol Crews, Cameron; two sons, Marshall W. Buntin, Ludlow, and Thomas J. Buntin, Columbia; two brothers, Minnis Buntin, Oceanside, Calif., and Bill Buntin, Wayland; a sister, Mrs. Clastine Howe, Sparks, Neb., and three grandchildren.
There will be family visitation tonight beginning at 7:30 at the funeral home.
The body will lie in state at the church in Ludlow from 11 a.m. tomorrow.
