George Alexander, known as Buster, was born on May 31, 1902 in Cleveland, Ohio and was the 5th of nine children. He had sisters Daisy, Isabell, Gladys & Mary and brothers Joe, Allen & John. One brother Francis died as a baby. His parents were Frank and Eva (nee Michel) Duesler.
He graduated from St. Edwards High School in Cleveland in 1920.
He was 36 when he married Margaret Louise Flory, she was 22, on June 25, 1938 in Cleveland and was almost 40 when his daughter Jane was born in Jan. 1942.
He was a private in the Army (Ser.# 35517500) in WWII from 10/31/1942-9/4/1943. 1225 service unit.
He and Margaret divorced Dec. 12, 1952 and he never remarried.
He was a factory worker at Anchor Rubber in Cleveland.
George was living at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, Ohio when he died Sept. 29, 1960 at the age of 58. He died from arteriosclerotic heart disease and emphysema and is buried there in Sec. 3, Row 12, Grave 2.
George was about 5'11" tall with brown eyes & brown hair & had a receding hair line at an early age.
He loved to play cards & unfortunately, was an alcoholic and smoked heavily.
He was the 3rd of his siblings to die and was the 6th generation of Duesler's that immigrated to Ephrata, NY in 1754 from Seissen, Germany.

GEORGE ALEXANDER DUESLER, was living at the Soldiers & Sailors Home Hospital in Perry twp for 15 months where he passed away on Sept. 29, 1960 from cardiac failure due to arteriosclerosis and lung cancer at age 58 yrs old. Burial at th OS&S Home Cemetery on Oct. 1st.
