HETTIE SWEARINGEN JARROTT

Funeral services for Hettie Swearingen Jarrott, age 82, of Woodville, were held Sunday, August 2, 1981 at 11:00 a.m. at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Raymond Parker officiated, with burial following in Camp Ground Cemetery.
Mrs. Jarrott passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 1981, in Tyler County Hospital after an illness. A native of Tyler County and a former resident of Beaumont, she had made her home in Woodville for the past 16 years. Mrs. Jarrott was a Baptist.
Survivors include two brothers, Bob Oates and Elza Oates, both of Woodville; one sister, Mrs. Merle Creel of Woodville; four stepdaughters, Mildred Hracek of Corpus Christi, Dot Reeves of New Orleans, and Merle Hoffman and Jessie Mae Rockett, both of Missouri; one grandson and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers were Bill Arthur, K. D. Creel, Robert Oates, Elmer Ray Oates, Esca Swearingen and Sonny Sterling.
