Raymond L. Kilmer
Raymond L Kilmer, 61, of 396 Fenn St., died at his home Saturday morning.
He was born in Lenox April 2, 1898, and lived in Pittsfield many years. He worked many years for the Checker Cab Company. At the time of his death, he was employed at St Luke's Hospital. He attended St Joseph's Church.
Besides his wife, the former Madeline Templeton, he leaves five sons, Raymond T and John C of this city. Robert M and Lawrence of Richmond, Calif. and Paul C of Boston; a daughter, Mrs. Franklin Stottle of this city; a sister, Mrs. Helen Blaney of Lanesborough; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held this morning at 9:30 at the Dery Funeral Home and at 10 at St Joseph's Church with a High Mass of Requiem. The Rev. Charles L Foley was celebrant. A dedication of the Sisters of Providence of St Luke's Hospital was in attendance. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, where the Rev Raymond A. Lanoue offered prayers at the grave.
Bearers were John J Bradley, Walter E Burke, Dominick F Salvatore, Samuel J Ralotto, Joseph T Puia and Frederick Talarreo.
