Mrs. Effie Dennis, residence Farmers Branch, died Thursday, Sept 2, at age 61. Mrs. Dennis is survived by her husband George Dibble Dennis; a daughter, Mrs. Maurine McKay, Dallas; two sons, Howard W. Dennis and George Dibble Dennis, Jr. both of Farmers Branch; a sister Mrs. O. T. Dennis, Farmers Branch, four brothers, Lewis Leslie, Dallas; Ed Leslie, Fort Worth; Ted Leslie, Baytown; George Leslie, Oklahoma; five grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, Sept. 4, from Webb Chapel Methodist Church, Farmers Branch, with Rev. Bill Stinson, and Rev. W. B. Carraway officiating. Interment was in Farmers Branch Cemetery with Rhoton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
