He has been in ill health for some time. The funeral was held Mon., at 3:30 pm at the Eclectic Baptist Church with burial in the local cemetery. Survivors include the widow; 8 sons: Ernest, Eddie L. & Hurbert-Alexander City, Leonard & Leon-Eclectic, Burley-Langdale, Marlin-Pell City & Emmitt Champion-Burnell, FL; dau: Mrs. Jean Bridgman-Eclectic. 21 gch & one great-gch; 3 brothers & 3 sisters.
