Jack Harmon, age 72, died Friday, September 23 at Houston Community Hospital. Funeral services were held Sunday, September 25 at Macedonia Methodist Church. Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Smith, the Rev. James Staggs and the Rev. Donnie Wooten officiating.
The son of the late William Harmon and the late Vera Gann, he was a retired employee of the City of Houston. A lifelong resident of Chickasaw County, he was a member of Macedonia Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rena Criddle Harmon of Houston; one daughter, Miss Jackie Harmon of Houston; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Eva Doss of Houston and Mrs. Jane Perkins of Hamilton; one stepson, Joe Criddle of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. May Lorene Criddle of Houston and Mrs. Esterlene Latham of Eupora; one stepsister, Miss Melia Alma Griffin of Houston; one stepbrother, Dick Griffin of Houston; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rodney Latham, Roy Lee Latham, Tommy Criddle, Jerry Criddle, Willie Gene Huffman, Bobby Huffman, Ted Griffin and Lynn Harmon.
Houston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
