Died, - Sunday, June 19 in Stoughton, of small pox, Mary H., daughter of J.F. and J.R. Gilman, aged 2 years and eight months.

Mary was born to Jenette R nee Case Gilman and John F. Gilman -
they were married September 6, 1849.
Her older twin brothers Edward Williston and Edgar were born in 1854 and sister Alice Gilman.
Her mother Jenette was also buried shortly after her passing at the Gilman family plot.
Her father remarried Mary Flatt and had two step siblings as her survivors along with Edward, Edgar, Alice, step sister Mary Ruth, -(step brothers Winfield W. born in 1862 and Walter F. in (1871)) and a step niece Lois Gilman in 1922.
Mary passed from this world with angelic wings. Her mpther passed within that time of a year. A family of Gilman members in 1890s were gifted with a second Jenette Gilman marrying Mr. Turner who was the next generation with a daughter Mary as well-as the legacy of family lived on.
