She married James Albert Grubb, son of Tobe and Belle Givens Grubb, about 1891 in Osage Township, Bourbon Couny, Kansas. They had one daughter Dencie Olive Grubb, born July 21, 1894. Sadly, Olive died just a few years later, August 20, 1900 in Osage Township, Bourbon County KS, requesting that her six year old daughter be raised by her paternal grandparents.
While Olive died at a very young age, her daughter Dencie lived to be 106 years old, dying May 8 2001 at Fort Scott, KS, almost 101 years after her mother's death.
Siblings of Olive May Marlett Grubb were John Barton Marlett and Mary Lydia Marlett, both buried in the Lowell Cemetery, Cherokee County Kansas along with Olive's Parents.
Olive is buried next to her grandfather Barton Snider who died December 24 1892.
