DEATH OF MRS. MARLETT
Mrs. Mary Lydia Marlett, 65 years old, died June 5 at the home of her daughter five miles north of Seneca, with whom she made her home. She moved to Newton County, Mo., in 1901. She was a member of the Baptist Church since 1905. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Iva Rakes, and husband and four grandchildren, Roy E. Rakes and Mrs. Dencie Salmans of Beeler, Kas., and Walter and Delbert Rakes at home; her mother, Mrs. Arena Marlett and one brother, John Marlett. Funeral services were held at the home Monday conducted by the Rev. H. Holt. Burial was at Lowell, Kas., under direction of Mitchell undertakers.
