The funeral of Henry Certain was well attendend on Thursday afternoon of last week. Rev. A. J. Jockisch conducted the services and the male quartet of the M. E. Church funished the music. All of the children; nine in number; were present. Those from a distance were: George and Wesley, both of Muncie, Ind; Duncan, Wilmington, Oh; Nathan, Montpelier, Ind; Mrs. Sarah A. Boring and husband of Rockford, Oh. Other relatives present were a brother, Wilson Certain, Marion, Ia; Bert Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hartman, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Sullivan of Urbana; Mrs. Wilbur Webb of Darlington, Ind. Internment at Davis Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hartman and H. R. Taylor went to Fairmount on Friday to attend the funeral of Henry Certain. Mr. Certain died Wednesday night at the age of 87 years. He was an old resident of Fairmount.
