George was the 1st born son of seven,Joseph, unk Male, Andrew Jackson, Martin Van Buren, Ambrose and Enos, and 5 unknown named daughters to Rufus and Margaret McIntosh Corey.
Rufus was born PA abt 1782, the son of Joseph Alvin (?) and Prudence Parks Corey, the daughter of Amos and Grace Herrick Parks. Margaret was born Scotland abt 1795, her parents are unknown.
George was married first to Mary _____Corey in Potter Co PA with whom he had two daughters Sarah Ann and Theora Lucy Corey.
Their daughter, Sarah Ann married Simon L. McCain Abt. 1863-1864 at Steuben Co NY. The family moved to MI between 1866-70. They had a total of 10 children: William A., Denzil Thomas, Mary L., Edson L., Alice M. Effie Viola, Frank George, Cora Ann, Johnie, and Earl Adrian McCain. The family spent their lives in various areas in MI.
Their daughter, Theora Lucy married Jacob A. Becker abt 1865 in PA. They had 5 children: Frank, Alice Ella May, Anna May, Emma Louise and William Jacob Becker. They spent time in Ashtabula and Cuyahoga Co's Ohio.
George's second marriage, abt 1856 NY or PA, was to Catherine Mary Baugher Corey, daughter of John and Lucinda Fuller Baugher. George and Catherine had a daughter, Destimona Corey b 22 May 1861 NY. She married Joseph Konrad 1875 in PA and lived in Ashtabula OH when she died.
George was, I believe a Civil War Veteran, yet to be totally proven. Before and after the war he was a Master Carpenter living most of his adult life in Hydetown Crawford Co PA until moving with his wife, Catherine to Ashtabula to live with their daughter, Destimona, also known as Belle, and her husband.

OLDEST MAN IN CITY DIES
George N. Corey succumbs to infirmities of old age Saturday. Had attained age of more than 93 years. End Came at Home of Daughter Whom He Had Resided for Fourteen Years.---Funeral Was Held Monday Afternoon.
The oldest inhabitant of Ashtabula, passed from life Saturday afternoon in the death of George W. Corey, at the home of his daughter Mrs Joseph Conrad (Konrad), at 336 South Main street. The deceased had attained the age of 93 years and 14 days and was just 28 days older than Captain Daniel Mitchell of Prospect street, who is now the oldest living resident of the city.
Mr. Corey was born near Hornellsville, N.Y., on September 7, 1814; and his life was spent in other places until about fourteen years ago when he came here to make his home with his daughter. The end was due to old age, the deceased having been failing since February. The surviving family includes three daughters only, Mrs. Conrad (Konrad), Mrs. McKean of Michigan, and Mrs. Becker of Cleveland.
The funeral services were held at the late home Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock, with Mrs A.H. Talcott of the Spiritualist Church officiating, while Mrs. Alwin Fenner Joslin sang.
Interment was in Edgewood cemetery.
