90, who died at her home in Keswick on
Friday, October 30, was held at the
Keswick Methodist church, Sunday
afternoon, November 1, with the Rev.
L.G. Rumer in charge. Burial was in
the Sorden cemetery.
As Christie Anna Fisch, she was born
May 11, 1863 at Wilton Junction and
was a daughter of Michael and Eva
Lang Fisch. She was married to
Warren C. Irons on May 1, 1895 at
the home of her parents in Keswick.
They became the parents of three
daughters, one of whom, Velda Mae,
preceded her mother in death. Mr.
Irons died at Keswick October 7,
1935.
Mrs. Irons was a member of the
Keswick Methodist church and
Rebekah lodge.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.
Vera Rickey of Iowa City and Verna
of Keswick; two grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren and one
sister, Mrs. Caroline Maurer of
Wilton Junction.
