McDONALD

Thomas Clarence McDonald, son of Frank and Ellen McDonald was born at Pleasant Township, Lucas County, Iowa, on January 25, 1901. His graduation day was January 14, 1983 at his home at the age of 81 years, 11 months and 20 days.

He was united in marriage to Hazel Duckworth on August 30, 1921 and to this union was born five children. He was preceded in death by his son, Clell McDonald, in October 1981.

He is survived by his wife Hazel and two sons, Frank and Bob McDonald, and two daughters, Jean Halter and Donna Schneider. He had 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He has one living brother, Francis McDonald and a host of other friends and relatives.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 17, 1983, at the Fielding Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph N. Arnold officiating. Burial was in the Coal Glen Cemetery.
