Harley Baskm {Bascom} Myers passed away very suddenly at his home southwest of Jones May 31, 1930. Mr. Myers was born in Page County, Iowa, Jan. 29, 1885. He moved with his parents in 1889 to Campbell County, Tenn. At the age of fifteen years he with his parents moved to Chelsea, Indian Territory and lived there until May 1901, when they located at Jones, Okla. Here he spent his boyhood days, and grew to manhood. He lived on the farm, and was a great lover of nature. Was a devoted husband and father and had a kind word for everyone. And while he was taken so unexpectedly and when he seemed to be needed most we have to submit to the Father's will and know that our loss is his gain. He is survived by his devoted wife and eight children. Floyd A. Oklahoma City, Hugh, Mrs. Irene Perry of Oklahoma City, Evalyne, Marceille, Mary Ruth, Eloise, Florine and little Grandson Dale Perry.
