Claude E., 94, died Oct. 26, 1991 at Four Seasons Windsor, Okla. City. He was born May 26, 1897 to Mr. and Mrs. John F. Myers and was the last survivor of 11 children. The family came in two covered wagons and homesteaded in Oklahoma. Claude spent most of his adult life owning and operating his food businesses. After retirement at age 68 he was a sales representative for the Watkins Company until age 88, when he entered the nursing home. He is survived by 1 daughter, Jo and husband, Robert S. Hardin of Okla. City and by 1 son, Richard Myers and wife, Susie, of Grand Island, New York, and 4 granddaughters, Dianne Meyer of Los Angeles Calif, Karen Schauger of Buffalo, New York, Laura Myers of Hanover, NH and Sarah Myers of Chicago, Illinois. Also by 1 great grandson Christopher Sanders of Dallas, TX. Mr. Myers is survived by 1 sister-in-law Mrs. Clara McCulloch and 1 brother- in-law, Coy Tucker both of Oklahoma City and by 2 favorite nieces and husbands, Mrs. Irene Aull and husband Dick, Mrs. Pauline Troctor and husband, Rex and by '1 most favorite nephew Mr. Hugh Myers all of Oklahoma City. Also by many relatives and friends. The family gives special thanks and appreciation to Claude's dearest friend and most dedicated nurse, Mrs. Oleta McCraw and to the many other nurses and aides of Four Seasons Windsor. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 29, 1991 at Guardian Midtown Chapel with burial at Fairlawn Cemetery
