Maudie Kemp Bullington, daughter of C.M.C. and Julja A. Purcell Kemp, was born March 24, 1892 at Anna, Texas, and died October 21, at Harrison County Hospital, Corydon, Indiana.

She married Albert Bullington on September 3, 1907. To this union eight children were born.

Her husband and a daughter, Fern, preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Alton Baptist Church.

Survivors are a son, Thomas Bullington, of Alton, six daughters, Mrs. Chester Riddle of Oriole, Mrs. Lewis Knierman of Leavenworth, Mrs. Hubert Schuley of Georgetown, Mrs. Willard Bills, of Cape Sandy; Mrs. Elige Gabbard and Mrs. Charles Brooks of Leavenworth; 24 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two brothers George Kemp of Bethany, Ill., and Jack Kemp of Alton; a sister Lena Belle Coleman of Leavenworth, and nieces and nephews. She had been in failing health for several years, but was always looking forward to a-brighter tomorrow.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2;0O P.M. at Alton Baptist Church, with the Rev. B.L. Orr officiating. Burial was in Flower Point Cemetery.
