Katie Hensley Reeves was born Monday, April 30, 1888 to George W. Hayden Hensley and Lillie Sterling Hensley.

She married James Dan Reeves, a son of John Reeves and Ruth Powell Reeves.

Rites Monday for Mrs. Reeves

Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Reeves, 63, Danville 2, will be held Monday at 2:30 P.M. from Johnson Chapel church.

Rev. Willie Parker will conduct the rites with interment to follow in the adjoining cemetery, Peck directing.

Mrs. Reeves died at her home Saturday at approximately 9 a.m.

Survivors include her husband, Dan Reeves, Danville 2; one daughter, Mrs. Pruitt Callahan, Danville 2; three sons, Roman Reeves, Moulton 2; Rube Reeves, Decatur, Michigan; and Rathel Reeves Hartselle 2; one sister, Mrs. Georgia Segars, Danville 2; three brothers, Ed Hensley, Hartselle 2; Dennis and Lige Hensley, both of Danville 3; and 14 grand children.

Pallbearers will be Rube Reeves, Roman Reeves, Raphael Reeves, Billy J. Reeves, R.C. Reeves, and Pruitt Callahan.

The deceased was a member of the Johnson Chapel church.
