Lige Franklin Hensley was born Tuesday, January 12, 1897 to George W. Hayden Hensley and Lillie Sterling Hensley.

He married Ruby Ethel Segars, a daughter of Will T. Segars and Sarah Frances "Fannie" Hicks Segars. ~ Lige Hensley

HARTSELLE — Funeral services for Lige Hensley, 72, of Trinity 2, who died Friday at his home, will be 2 p.m. today at Enon Baptist Church, Revs. J. W. Nelson and E. J. Ridgeway officiating with burial in Johnson's Chapel Cemetery, Peck Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ethel Hensley of Trinity 2; three daughters, Mrs. Wilma Vest of Hartselle 2, Mrs. Mrs. Clezelle Asherbranner of Falkville 1 and Miss Lennie Hensley of Trinity 2; four sons, F.D. Hensley of Danville 1, Clifton Hensley of Hartselle, Almon Hensley of Danville 3 and Donald Hensley of Trinity 2; 13 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will include Alvie Hensley, Ralph Segars, T. G. Segars, Gurney Segars, Louis Glenn Lanier and James Norman Lanier.
