Harold F. Trujillo, 72, of Laramie died Sept. 7 at his home.

He was born Dec. 3, 1931, the son of Abelino and Genevieve (Baca) Trujillo in La Garita, Colo.

Mr. Trujillo worked as a carpenter for Spiegelberg Lumber Company and the University of Wyoming for many years.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, who enjoyed building wood crafts. In 1972 he married his second wife, Mary Ortega, in Laramie.

Mr. Trujillo was a member of St. Laurence O'Toole Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, the Carpenters Union and the Latin American Club.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Trujillo of Laramie; three sons, John Trujillo and wife Jackie of Cheyenne, Robert Ortega of Cheyenne and James Ortega and wife Lorraine of Phoenix; five daughters, Sheila Aaker and husband Steve of Louisville, Colo., Phyllis Simola and husband Ted of Cheyenne, Alfrieda Gonzales and husband Tom of Cheyenne, Stella Trujillo of Denver and Helen Gonzales and husband Bill of Denver; two brothers, Tony Trujillo of Denver and Rudy Trujillo and wife Bernice of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Susano, Victor and Sam.

Pallbearers will be John Louis Trujillo, Anthony Trujillo, Nic Aaker, Jon Aaker, Joseph Simola and Ted Simola.

Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Trujillo, Robert Ortega, James Ortega and Steve Aaker.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home.

Friends may contribute to the Hospice of Laramie, 1265 N. 22nd St., Unit A, Laramie, WY 82070.

Services are under the direction of Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home.
